Best practice hand soldering and reworking of through-hole and surface mount devices

This ‘fast-track’ review of best practice for soldering today’s components can be the perfect remedy for bringing hard-earned skills bang up to date.

Working with smaller and smaller components can sometimes seem daunting to even the most experienced of skilled staff. This course is aimed at those long-standing solderers who require best practice skill techniques for today’s components.

Training your staff to handle the smallest items ensures your designers can use the latest technology, saving costs for your company.

Covering both plated through hole (PTH) and surface mount devices (SMDs) the course deals with 02s, 01s and fine pitch components. It can help staff eliminate the root cause of badly soldered connections. Attendance on this course is intended to increase reliability and quality whilst decreasing faults due to incorrect soldering, all of which brings cost savings and enhanced profits.
